The Lake District or also known as the Lakeland or simply The Lake is a national park located at the mountainous region in the North West England. Known for the great lakes that it harbors, the Lakeland is also a tourist attraction which is a home of Lake Poets and William Wordsworth. Being the largest national park in the UK, it has a total area of approximately 885 square miles of panoramic scenery with lands three thousand feet above sea level. It is a booming tourist attraction nowadays with millions of people that visits the park. Known for the lakes and the majestic nature parks, you can do all the outdoor activities you would like to try or visit museums and art exhibits.
Although Grasmere is not included in the top four highly populated towns in Lake District, the town boasts the place for being a birthplace of William Wordsworth and other known Lake Poets. It is a town today part of Cumbria which got its name from the adjacent lake that is located near it. Due to the geographical location of the town and the lake beside it, popular outdoor sports include water sailing and boat rowing. The natural mountain that surrounds it can also be a place for sports like rock climbing, hiking and cycling. Located near the populated town of Bowness is the community of windermere. Hotel rooms are fully booked in seasons especially near a holiday. In this kind of season, lake district hotels are almost always fully booked. Getting one without prior appointment may become irritating. Though in time like this, a lot of options like a family house or a bed and breakfast room could be applicable.
